The Lingen-based mail order company EMP is investing a double-digit million sum at its home base on the Darmer Esch. Europe’s largest mail order company for metal and rock merchandise is doubling its logistics area and equipping it with state-of-the-art robot technology. Oliver Dahms from DAHMS consulting supported the conceptual design and implementation.
Ernst Trapp, EMP’s managing director, describes data analysis as one of the keys to EMP’s success. Every day, IT specialists analyze huge streams of data that are generated in connection with orders, customer inquiries, access to the homepage and deliveries, with the aim of further increasing customer satisfaction.
